Mayor’s Oath

This is the oath every mayor of Desolado Village must state

before taking place as mayor officially.

I promise to take the concerns of the people to the highest metaphoric mountain I can possibly achieve. I promise to lead my neighborhood, our neighborhood, as an example to both young and old. I promise to retain dignity and honor, through rough times and easy times, through thick and thin; for my citizens' sake. I say the following in hopes it will be kept true for generations and generations to come.
